SD104 celebrated Black History Month by having a District Wide Black History Month Celebration. Thank you to the presenters who came out and taught the students about African American fraternities and sororities. Students also enjoyed a rendition of the Black National Anthem by Geraldine McClinton and a step performance by the Argo Community High School Black Student Union. Admission, games, crafts and refreshments are all free; however, we will be doing a book resale and selling raffle tickets, which are to raise money for #argoNHS member scholarships and their senior trip. It is in the Argo High School cafeteria so you can park in the back lot behind the field house and enter through door 13 by the Del Essig Garden! We hope to see you there!"

Kindergarten students at Walker school celebrated Mardi Gras today by reading stories, participating in a King Baby activity walk, and eating a King Cake! After a very long day of competition, the Sailor Cheer Team ended their season on a high note finishing 18th in the ENTIRE STATE OF ILLINOIS, with their highest score yet. These athletes have worked since August and have a lot to be proud of! We are so thankful to our parents and school for always supporting us as we grow to be better each year. Congratulations Sailor Nation on a job well done. 📣♥️

Graves PTO sponsored their first "Valentine's Day Family Date Night" Thank you to all the families who joined us for a night of dinner, music, games, and laughs. A special thanks to our PTO President, Vice President, and members for planning this fun event! La Organización de padres (PTO) de Graves patrocinó su primera "Noche de Cita Familiar del Día de San Valentín" Gracias a todas las familias que se unieron con nosotros para una noche de cena, música, juegos y risas. ¡Un agradecimiento especial a nuestra presidenta, vicepresidenta y miembros de la organización por planificar este evento divertido!

Congratulations to some of our 7th and 8th Grade Band Students on their performances at the District 66 Solo Festival this past Saturday! All students received an excellent rating and were able to receive constructive feedback to make them better musicians. Way to go, Sailor Band Students!

In a joint effort with Argo Girls Track, Ms. Young-Confidential Secretary to Dr. Cotter, and Mrs. Manzkes' students; fifty-Five gnomes and cards were delivered to Summit Senior Apartments. The seniors were so surprised!
