7th-grade students have been attending a 3-day field trip to the Shedd Aquarium. The reason for the 3-day trip is because the students will be dissecting squid with the Shedd Aquarium scientists! Our first trip was last Thursday, the second trip was Tuesday, and our final trip will be today!

SMILE! Graves Spring Picture Day is Tuesday, March 7th. It will be a non-uniform day for pre-k to fourth grade. SD104 celebrated Black History Month by having a District Wide Black History Month Celebration. Thank you to the presenters who came out and taught the students about African American fraternities and sororities. Students also enjoyed a rendition of the Black National Anthem by Geraldine McClinton and a step performance by the Argo Community High School Black Student Union. Taken from Argo's Instagram, "This Saturday from 10 am-12 pm hosted by National Honor Society! It'll be a great time for the family, and it's early enough that you have the rest of the day! Admission, games, crafts and refreshments are all free; however, we will be doing a book resale and selling raffle tickets, which are to raise money for #argoNHS member scholarships and their senior trip. It is in the Argo High School cafeteria so you can park in the back lot behind the field house and enter through door 13 by the Del Essig Garden! We hope to see you there!"
