Let’s take a second to recognize Jocelyn Munoz! She is our first Cheerleader of the week! She stepped up without hesitation to be a leader that we can count on! She has become a “jack of all trades” and can base, back, and fly! Way to go!!

Walsh School participated in its first annual Turkey Trot sponsored by our PBIS team. The students did an amazing job running around the field. The winners received a $15 gift certificate to Aldi!

Fight the spread of Covid-19! SD104 will be having a vaccination event this Friday (11/19) from 3:00pm to 6:00pm for kids ages 5 - 11. The first dose will be administered at this event. After learning about Hammurabi’s Code, students in Ms. Kozal’s class brainstormed their own laws and wrote them out using the ancient style of cuneiform!

Sixth grade students in Mrs. Noonan's social studies class created their own law based on Hammurabi's code. Then, they wrote their law in cuneiform (ancient Mesopotamian writing) on brown paper. This is part of their study of Ancient Mesopotamia!

The Bywater Family donated 100’s of items to the Walker Student Council Food Drive for the local food pantry! It blew the top of the Common Core State Standard Graph (3.MD.B.3) created by student council. #raisingleaders 😁
