Walker Elementary School located in Bedford Park, and it is the newest building in Cook County School District 104. Located in the quiet tree lined neighborhood of Bedford Park, the school has been a mainstay in the community, since it was built in 1934. The school was named after a former board member, W.W. Walker to honor his service to the staff, students, and families of School District 104. Currently, Walker houses students from kindergarten through fourth grade and offers an engaging and rigorous curriculum for students. The mission of Walker School is to collaborate as a professional learning community to create a positive environment where all students achieve their full potential and develop a life-long love for learning.
